British Airways is launching new flights to Lapland this winter. Starting 3 December 2024, flights will depart twice weekly from London Gatwick to Ivalo, Finland’s northernmost airport. Ivalo, in the Arctic Circle, is a gateway to the resort village Saariselkä, known for winter sports and Christmas activities. Visitors can meet Santa at the Northern Lights Village and enjoy stunning views of the northern lights.
Operated by BA Euroflyer, these flights allow skiing and snowboarding equipment as checked baggage. Return flights are available now from £345, running until 14 February 2025.
