Open Talk About Sex Is Becoming a Ticketed Summer Night Out

In Denmark, a wellbeing brand called Hot Sanctuary is turning frank conversation about sex into a night out. Its “Lust Talks” panel — billed as “Summer, sex & dating” — gathers a sexologist and other experts for two hours on desire, body image, intimacy, loneliness and modern relationships, then opens the floor to anonymous audience questions, with a bar, a “sensual goodiebag” and a tie-in podcast. What used to be private, slightly awkward territory is staged as a ticketed, social summer evening.

What stands out is the move from taboo to event. Talking openly about sex and intimacy — once kept to the doctor’s office or a hushed chat — is being packaged with the production values of a night out: experts, a venue, drinks, a goodiebag, a podcast. As a generation treats wellbeing as something done in public and together, even the most private subjects become shared, ticketed experiences. The line around what’s okay to discuss out loud is quietly moving.

So: Which conversation your customers still have in private could you give them a comfortable, public place to have?
