DTU Hosts Andreas Mogensen Live from Space in Special Ørsted Lecture

DTU, the Technical University of Denmark, extends a unique invitation to its students and staff for an extraordinary Ørsted Lecture on 23 February, featuring ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen live from the International Space Station (ISS). This event marks a rare opportunity for attendees to delve into the forefront of space research and engage directly with an astronaut in orbit.

Andreas, on his second ISS mission, will share his experiences and preliminary findings from DTU-led projects, offering a firsthand look at space exploration’s cutting-edge. Prior to the live link-up, a panel of experts will dissect the mission’s experiments, setting the stage for a comprehensive exploration of space science.

Organized in collaboration with ESA and “Space Travel 2023,” this lecture not only epitomizes DTU’s commitment to pioneering research but also fosters a bridge between earthbound scholars and the vast expanse of space. With an open invitation to DTU and University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Science students and staff, this event is poised to enrich academic curiosity and inspire future innovations in space technology and research.
