A Danish Report Puts Regional Electric Planes Ahead of Flying Taxis

After almost three years of analysis, Copenhagen Helicopter and Grøn Luftfart have published NGR 2.0 AAM, a Danish report on advanced air mobility, subtitled From Technology Hype to Decision Basis. Its central conclusion is that the potential in Denmark is real but selective: smaller electric aircraft on regional routes are a more relevant first track for the country than flying taxis over the cities.

When the work began, the field was dominated by high expectations for eVTOL aircraft and a quick commercial rollout. The report now points to aircraft in the nine to nineteen seat class as the first realistic commercial step, on routes to islands and regions where an aircraft solves a transport task better than the alternatives. And it holds that the aircraft is not the product: frequency, infrastructure, energy, airspace, booking and payment decide whether any of it holds together.

So…:

Which part of your idea is the aircraft, and which part is everything around it?
