Tesla will stop offering its Full Self-Driving (FSD) software as a one-time purchase in the US from 14 February 2026. Instead, the system will only be available via a $99/month subscription. Elon Musk confirmed the change on X, aligning with the growing industry trend toward paid software services. In the UK, FSD has not yet been fully approved for use, so outright purchases will remain possible for now.
