In Kuala Lumpur, a 30,000-square-foot members club called ĀMANĪ bills itself as Asia’s first and largest biohacking club — and it is open only to chief executives and senior leaders. Membership runs to around 50,000 ringgit, roughly 11,000 dollars a year. Inside: hyperbaric oxygen, far-infrared sauna, neuro-sensory devices, breathwork and a menu of medical-grade ‘optimisation’ machines, framed as a full-body reset for people at the top.
It marks a shift in what a status club signals. Where an executive’s membership once meant a golf course or a boardroom dining room, here it means longevity and recovery. Health optimisation is becoming the new luxury good — and access to it, a marker of rank.
