Maison Presents Luxurious Fastelavnsbolle With Truffle and Gold Leaf

Maison d’Angleterre is introducing a limited-edition Fastelavnsbolle priced at DKK 495, created by Head Pastry Chef Freja Krarup. The pastry features croissant dough with remonce, salted caramel, caramelised hazelnuts, vanilla praline, and a rich cream made with white winter truffles and caramelised chocolate – topped with black truffle and edible gold leaf. Pre-orders open on 30 January, with only a small batch available.

From 6 February, the caviar version will also return at DKK 365, available by pre-order only.

Freja Krarup explains that the aim is to create overwhelming flavour – while also expanding the idea of what a Fastelavnsbolle can be.
