Introducing BARK Air, the first jet service tailored specifically for dogs. This novel concept, created by BARK, the company behind BarkBox, redefines pet travel by offering a seamless first-class experience for dogs. Launching with routes from New York to London and Los Angeles, a one-way ticket starts at $6,000, ensuring that canine companions can enjoy the skies without the usual travel stress.
Traditionally, flying with pets can be a hassle, with varying airline policies and often uncomfortable conditions for the animals. BARK Air aims to transform this experience by prioritizing the comfort and needs of dogs from the moment they arrive at the airport. The service eliminates typical airport procedures, replacing them with a relaxed check-in process that includes a meet-and-greet for dogs and their owners. Onboard, pets enjoy custom accommodations, including calming pheromones and music, noise-canceling earmuffs, and a selection of treats and drinks to ease the flying experience.
Flights begin on May 23, with tickets already on sale. This premium service not only elevates the travel experience for dogs but also allows them to travel in style and comfort, just like their human counterparts.
BARK Air makes a point of stating that they are a 100% genuine concept, so we look forward to seeing and ensuring that they are as authentic as they claim to be.
No matter what, we see a plethora of concepts targeted at human’s best friend, which tells us a lot about how we form subjective and self-chosen relationships with others.
