Today, Codan Insurance and the Danish Child Accident Prevention Foundation mark Reflex Day for the 15th year to promote road safety. The initiative follows a new survey showing that 40% of Danes never wear reflectors in the dark.
In cities including Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus, Aalborg, Roskilde and Nuuk, 62,000 reflectors are distributed to raise awareness about visibility in traffic.
Tomorrow, Social Reflex Runs in Aalborg, Aarhus and Vejle will continue the effort, encouraging people to light up the streets together.
