During the final week of January, TikTok’s most-followed creator, Khaby Lame, sold his company Step Distinctive Limited to Rich Sparkle, a Hong Kong-based holding firm, in a deal valued at $975 million. The transaction gives Lame a controlling stake via 75 million shares.
Though he now sells the brand, Lame will continue to lead operations. The deal includes rights to develop an AI Digital Twin of Lame for multilingual livestream e-commerce. With over 160 million followers and major brand deals, Lame remains a global digital force.
