Apollo Sold 30% More Solo Trips, and Nearly One in Five Book Again

Apollo Sports says sales of its SOLO trips rose 30 percent over the past year, with several departures selling out long before travel. What began as a single offer now runs waiting lists. Departures will grow by almost 30 percent in 2027, and the concept is moving beyond the operator’s own sports hotels to more destinations and themes — functional training now, yoga and recovery next.

What is being sold is the interesting part. Guests get a room of their own, but they are introduced before departure and train together throughout the holiday. Nearly one in five books again, and former participants go on to travel together on their own. Travelling alone is no longer a compromise for people without company; it has become a way to acquire a community you did not already have.

So…:

Where could your offer sell the community rather than the product?
