HORESTA, Denmark’s industry association for hospitality, restaurants and tourism, has established a new emergency preparedness network aimed at strengthening resilience across the hotel, restaurant and tourism sectors. The initiative responds to rising concerns about cyberattacks, supply disruptions and broader security threats.
The confidential forum will bring together selected member companies, experts and public authorities to exchange practical experience and strategic insight. Its work will result in a political proposal outlining the industry’s role in national preparedness, alongside a hands-on crisis guide for members. Former PET and FE chief Lars Findsen will speak at the first meeting on 11 March, addressing Denmark’s current security landscape and risk scenarios.
