LEGO® has unveiled SMART Play™, a screen-free platform powered by the new SMART Brick, combining physical building with interactive play. Using sensors, sound, and motion technology, LEGO creations can now respond to how they’re played with in real time. The first sets launch March 1st, 2026, and include three LEGO® Star Wars™ sets, each featuring SMART Minifigures, Tags, and interactive sound and light effects.
This marks one of LEGO’s biggest innovations since the Minifigure, blending storytelling, tech and hands-on fun.
