Amazon has launched a new AI-powered feature called “Ask this Book” for its Kindle iOS app, allowing readers to ask contextual questions about characters, plots or themes directly within e-books. The tool is designed to provide spoiler-free answers based only on what the reader has seen so far. By highlighting a passage, users can trigger the assistant and even ask follow-up questions. Although limited to U.S. iOS users for now, Amazon plans to expand it to Android and Kindle devices in 2026.
