Ben & Jerry’s Co-Founder Launches Watermelon Ice Cream to Show Solidarity with Palestine

Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Ben Cohen has unveiled a new limited-edition watermelon-flavoured ice cream in support of Palestine. The flavour is produced by his non-profit brand Ben’s Best Blnz and references the watermelon as a long-standing symbol of Palestinian identity and resistance.

Cohen, no longer affiliated with Unilever-owned Ben & Jerry’s, stated the initiative aims to raise awareness and support peace and justice efforts. The ice cream will not be sold commercially but is intended as a symbolic act to inspire dialogue and solidarity.
