British Airways has signed a deal with Starlink to provide free high-speed Wi-Fi for all passengers across all cabins starting in 2026. The satellite-based service will enable streaming, work and real-time connectivity gate-to-gate, even over remote regions and oceans.

This move forms part of the airline’s £7 billion transformation programme, which has already introduced new lounges, improved punctuality, and modernised the fleet. The airline says the Starlink rollout will significantly enhance passenger experience, particularly on short-haul routes, by delivering internet access that “feels like home.”
