U.S. to Raise National Park Fees for Foreign Visitors in 2026

Starting January 1, 2026, international visitors to top U.S. national parks will face steep new fees. According to the Department of the Interior, nonresidents must pay an additional $100 per person or $250 for an annual pass, on top of standard entry costs. Parks affected include Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon.

The move, framed as an “America-first” policy, aims to boost park funding without burdening U.S. taxpayers. The Interior Department also introduced eight “patriotic fee-free” days for residents only.

U.S. officials say the revenue will help preserve parks while ensuring fair contribution from foreign tourists.
